Given our holistic and integrative approach, we use a range of professional trainers drawn from a variety of specialist fields so that we can offer every organisation a trainer that best suits their needs. Our trainers include:
Business & Clinical Psychologists
who offer a systemic approach to organisational development. They work with participants to explore goals, motivations and challenges and give them the techniques they need to develop personal capacities, engage in transformative action and become autonomous self-leaders.
who can offer theoretical, practical and applied approaches to positive psychology and medicine. They also assess and advise on physiological matters, such as health risk and health potential, performance and sleep. Part of their role also involves working with participants to develop strategies for social, emotional, psychological and physiological wellbeing.
Academic Adult Educators
who ensure that all our programmes are fit for purpose and are delivered in the most effective way. Our academic team also put all of our programmes through a robust review and evaluation process to make sure they achieve the desired impact. They also bring a comprehensive understanding of the ecology of learning and human development to the programme.
Executive Coaches & Trainers
who support people both in one-to-one or in peer learning environments, by helping them identify personal and professional goals through envisioning and developing the strategies they need to achieve their goals and bring about transformation.

Dr Peter Gruenewald
Peter is a General Practitioner in the NHS and is in private practice in Bristol and London. He is Founder and Managing Director of HeartSpheres Ltd. Peter conducts workshops and provides diagnosis and coaching for individuals in the field of resilience, stress, health and performance. He provides these services as stand-alone workshops or as part of leadership training programmes for SAID Business School, Oxford University; Academy Schloss Krickenbeck, Germany and for organisations in corporate business, education and health. Peter's clients span from the banking industry to colleges of teachers and health professionals in the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is author of the book "The Quiet Heart. Putting Stress in its Place." Floris Books.
Dr. Lindsay Ip, Psy.D., CPsychol.
Director of Research and Development
Lindsay is an HCPC registered and Chartered Clinical Psychologist in the U.K. and licensed in California. She received her doctorate from PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium - a joint programme of Stanford University and Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. Dr Ip is skilled at implementing evidenced based practices in clinical and organisational settings across different disciplines and cultures. Her clients include Silicon Valley start-ups and executives in the technology,health, finance and education sectors. Dr. Ip directed an integrated care clinic in California, was acting training director for doctoral trainees, and adjunct professor for a global mental health graduate program at Palo Alto University. She has been an executive consultant, coach and advisor for social media, mobile mental health and educational start ups; presented in the media and to senior government officials in the U.K. Having a multicultural perspective she is trilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. She enjoys traveling,singing,theatre,hiking and recently featured in a TV series called “Genius”.
Dr Felicity Gibling CPsychol
As an HCPC Registered and Chartered Occupational Psychologist, the heart of Felicity's work is leadership development, coaching, executive assessment and selection. Her focus is to connect people to their deeper values, beliefs and aspirations and she has a keen interest in using positive psychology to improve wellbeing. She helps people transform the way they work, collaborate with colleagues, gain personal insights, and renew their business and the culture of their organization. Through the use of diagnostic psychological tests, she encourages leaders to increase self-awareness and responsibility, helping them to realize their full potential as leaders and the capability of their teams. After working as a psychologist for over 10 years within law enforcement in the UK, she established a consultancy business in 1997 working globally with many multi-national companies. She enjoys music and singing, walking, skiing and travelling and is Administrator of a Charity.
Dr Jo Hennessy
Jo has pursued parallel careers in medical education and in teaching children and young people. For seven years she advised on education policy for GPs within the NHS, and set up an organisation to provide high quality teaching and learning for doctors. This organisation, today called the Health Learning Partnership, is at the forefront of medical education nationally. To support good practice in teaching and learning, Jo devised a mentoring support structure for medical professionals in Bristol. This has been adopted in many areas of the country and has involved Jo in teaching mentoring skills and overseeing mentoring schemes within a broad geographical area. At the same time, she has worked as a teacher and lecturer in primary, secondary, further and higher education. Her particular interests include the importance of wellbeing to underpin effective learning and the role of positivity in health. Jo is bilingual in English and French. She is kept busy in her free time looking after a horse, a dog and a teenage son, and running a creative writing group.
Dr Brian Cawley
Brian is as an independent consultant and specialist in leadership and change management, and works with a wide range of clients in Ireland, the UK and internationally. From 2009 to 2015 Brian served as Director General at the Irish National School of Government (IPA). In addition to his senior leadership role, Brian has over 20 years experience specialising in the design and delivery of leadership development programs, change management consultancy and leadership coaching, mainly working with senior executives and senior management teams. He is also a specialist in governance and public policy. He was trained in the skills of leadership development and change management at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard and at IMD in Lausanne, and has since been facilitating programs and interventions with particular emphasis on Adaptive Leadership, a model of leadership particularly suited to helping leaders develop the capacity to adapt systems and steer their organizations, and teams, through major transition. In his teaching, consultancy and coaching, Brian emphasises the importance of personal resilience and self-understanding in the effective practice of leadership.
Director of Business Development
Nigel has worked in the both the NHS and private sector as a dental surgeon for over twenty years. Having developed an interest in psychophysiology he has trained extensively in hypnotherapy.Currently he is studying for a masters degree in applied positive psychology and coaching psychology the first course of its type, allowing him to introduce cutting edge research in the field in to Adaptive Resilience Ltd.He has also studied music and sound engineering and has a keen interest in using music in health and wellbeing.
Dr Max Moser
Max is a biologist and medical scientist. He is Head of Human Research ,Weiz,Austria. He specialises in clinical chronobiology, sleep, stress and recovery research and autonomic regulation. He conducted post-doc work in biomedical engineering University of Virginia and worked in Physiology at the Medical Faculty of Graz.Max co-directed a research team that performed several medical experiments with Austrian and Russian cosmonauts in the space station MIR, developing new methods to determine autonomic circulatory regulation. He researches in preventive medicine and Noninvasive Diagnosis in Weiz/Austria. Max teaches Chronobiology and Chronomedicine, Medical Physiology - Exercises and Physiological Psychology at the Med. Universities Graz, Klagenfurt and Virginia.
Dr univ med (Vienna), Mmed (Stell./RSA), consultant RLHH/ UCLH. Helmut is a specialist in Internal Medicine and an experienced integrated physician. He combines conventional medicine with mind body medicine and stress management to help complex, chronic patients suffering of conditions like burnout or chronic pain syndrome. His practice has taught him that chronic stress due to lifestyle issues, inappropriate thinking habits and emotional response is one of the most important factors to address in such cases. His approach focuses on helping his clients to develop their resources and their capacity to create health and resilience. He has been a consultant at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital/University College London Hospital since 2001 and provides training, coaching and workshops in the area of self-management, stress and performance and developing resilience.
